One of the UK’s leading house builders, Redrow Homes, is using Hazibags on two high quality housing developments in Essex.
The company is always looking for innovations that it can adopt to improve the sustainability of their homes and identified Hazibags as a more environmentally responsible and safer way to contain and transport the company’s hazardous waste.
The 200litre bags are used for CoSHH waste generated during the build of St Nicholas Mews in Basildon and Oaklands Park in Thundersley including paint tins, sealants, aerosols and mastic tubes.
Martin Underwood, Purchasing Manager, Redrow Homes Limited says: "We identified Hazibag as an industry innovation that could help us manage our waste better and this has definitely been our experience when using them. Hazibags are helping Redrow Homes meet our commitment to building sustainably and we will continue to use the bags on our forthcoming developments."
